Traditional Block paved driveways 

We only install the very best products, products that come in many different textures, shapes, sizes and colours, however one thing that remains the same is the quality of the foundations on which your new driveway will be installed on.

We excavate to a depth of 250mm. Install any drainage requirements to meet the new regulations from October 1st 2008, install a non-woven filter fabric membrane (subject to ground condition).

We ensure the sub base is installed with a Ministry of Transport Type One Roadstone to a depth of at least 150mm, well compacted. All edge restraints are laid on concrete to the full depth of the construction base. Only at this point do we lay a 30mm bed of screeded sharp sand and start laying your chosen products. We ensure the finished driveway surface will be at least 150mm below your properties DPC level. Once complete your new driveway will be key bonded to lock in the kiln dried jointing sand.
